At Banyule Hawks, we pride ourselves on providing comprehensive pathways for all our members. As our junior players reach the end of their time in the EDJBA competition, we ensure they have opportunities to continue their basketball journey.
In collaboration with the Whittlesea Basketball Association, Banyule Hawks offers a senior option for both current players and those aging out, as well as the broader Hawks community. This partnership aims to ease the transition and facilitate additional game opportunities for players aged 15 to 100 years.
To support this, we manage registration and game day operations, making the process seamless. You can register through our links, and there’s no need to worry about weekly game sheet fees—they’re included in your registration.
Players can proudly wear their Banyule Hawks uniforms, and we look forward to seeing some exciting multi-generational games on the court!
We’ve found that some of the key barriers for our young people to transition to senior domestic programs include:
- Finding enough players for a team.
- Managing fill ins etc.
- Coordinating money and making the regular payments.
- Sourcing and purchasing their own uniforms.
- Dealing with any conduct issues or disputes either within the teams or at games.
Cost per player: $280.00 + BV & BA fees (fee of $51.50 is required if it hasn’t been paid within the last 12 months from the end of the season.).
Includes:
- All Games except finals
- Admin of competition
- Managing fill ins
- All communication with the competition.
