Dear Hawks Families,

The fixture for round 7 is now available:

Important reminder below from EDJBA in regards to COVID-19 restrictions still in place.

Spectators ARE NOT PERMITTED. There is an exception for participants 18-and-under to be accompanied by 1 parent/guardian. All attendees including players must sign in using the QR code at the venue.  Please ensure this information is passed on to all members.

By way of further clarification, if you are the coach or scorer of a participant in the team, you will be the 1 parent/guardian attending that game. A second parent/guardian is not able to attend as well. For families with multiple siblings, we encourage parents to make alternate arrangements for supervision of their children. Due to the tight patron caps on venues and the restriction level of no spectators, admittance to venues is limited to those required to play the game. These rules are in line with the current Victorian Government restrictions and we need to ensure we comply so that basketball can continue to be played.

Masks are currently mandatory for all patrons 12 years and older. They must be worn at all times indoors and outdoors (state-wide) unless medically exempt. Players, coaches and referees are exempt while on court participating in an exertive role, however, must be worn while not playing and on entry and exit of stadium.

As per note last week, please also leave additional basketballs at home, the game ball provided to each coach will suffice for warm up and game.

We hope these restrictions will be eased slightly the following week, as always, we’ll keep you updated.

Go Hawks!
